Cove's Worship Staff
Worship is an integral part of who we are, and there is a huge team that makes it happen each week. These are the paid staff on that team.
Rob Hall -
Rob has been at Cove since 2001, and is an integral part of who we are. He brings great musical skills, a passion for worship and a commitment to excellence. Rob writes many of the songs that we love and sing in our worship experiences. You can learn more about his music at RobHall.com. In addition to his music abilities, he can quote at least one line from every Seinfeld episode. He is married to Lynnae, and they have 3 sons.
Heather Joslin -
There are a ton of details that go into making our Sunday worship experiences happen each week, and Heather is the hub that keeps it all together. She works closely with Rob, John and the Worship Planning Team to ensure that you have the best we can offer. If you ever wonder how all the cool graphics happen on Sunday mornings, now you know. Not only is she a computer Guru - she has a contagiously positive outlook on life (an unusual combination!). She and her husband Robert have 2 children.
Teaching/Preaching
John Tanner-
John is the founding and Lead Pastor at Cove Church. You can learn more about his story on the "about us" tab on the top menu.
He and his family have been integral to the success of Cove as they have followed God's leading over the years. John preaches about 40 Sundays a year, and has a team of others who fill out the other 12. This allows him time to reflect and prepare, and also develop other teachers. As we move into the multi-site format, this will prove to be a valuable process. John's style is "relevant and intellectually honest".
