At Liquid we want everyone to feel welcome. On Sunday mornings we have time for worship through singing, teaching, discussion and prayer in our Rally Room. This is a time for celebrating what God has done for us and what He is doing through us. We meet in our brand new youth facility, The Well, adjacent to our main building at 10:45 a.m. for breakfast snacks in the Café and gaming in our Game Room.

Ministry Details

During the school year, our high school ministry consists of weekly Sunday worship and small group meeting times. Aside from these weekly gatherings, we have monthly events and various trips throughout the year where students can invite friends.

Small Groups 7:00 PM

C Groups are the way we do discipleship and mentoring within our high school ministry. These are groups of about 10 students and a faithful and
caring adult who will instruct, but more importantly, listen to and pray for the students within their group. There is a Flex group of male and female
students and groups that are separated by gender in order to be able to deal
specifically with the problems and issues associated with growing up in
today’s world. Meetings end around 8 PM.

Overflow 5:30 PM

One of our new initiatives is an outreach and fellowship opportunity in The Well on Sunday evenings. Students are encouraged to invite their friends from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. for free pizza and drinks and to enjoy the game room and a short student led devotion.

S-MAP

The Student Ministry Apprenticeship Program is designed to enable students to serve on Cove’s campus. Students are mentored by an adult for 3 months. Opportunities include Kids’ Cove, tech teams, hospitality, drama, band etc. Students are given spiritual gifts assessments and feedback. Students may enroll in September and January.

Encounter Retreat (Jan. 30 - Feb. 1, 2009)

High school students and their friends are invited to attend our annual Encounter Retreat to Camp ToknowHim in Pisgah, AL. Zip lines, horseback riding, low ropes course, and a wide variety of outdoor activities make this an action-packed, fun-filled weekend. Great speakers and spirited worship and fellowship make this an event not to miss!

BIG STUF '09

I am so pumped about our summer camp this year! The popularity of this camp just continues to grow! Come with us as we “Discover Passion, Worship, Truth, and Fun in a BigStuf way! We will be traveling to Panama City Beach for BigStuf Camp Sunday, July 19 through Thursday, July 23. Below I’ve listed forms that you’ll need, schedule, and pricing information, so be sure to check it out. More details are available online at www.bigstuf.com. Camp is open to graduating 8th graders – 12th graders.

Departure Schedule:
Sunday, July 19 (departure time TBA – We will be traveling by a charter bus)
We will return on Thursday, July 23 in the evening (TBA).

Fee Schedule:
Cost is $435. Space is limited to one 55-passenger Charter Bus so sign up NOW so you don’t miss out! Registration closes when capacity is reached. All forms are due on Sunday, January 11, 2009. Balance of $385 is due by Sunday, April 26th. BigStuf increases cost to $445 after Jan.11th and after March 11th, the price increases to $455. Turn in forms in The Well, the offering basket or the Church Office. Deposits are non-refundable. You may make payments of $55 monthly (7).
